The program has two parts.
Online Fundamentals
The Online Fundamentals start from first principles and build up step by step.
You learn:
how systems behave
how to listen
how to measure
how to make decisions
This part is about understanding.
Live Listening & Measuring Sessions
These take place in real acoustic environments.
Participants learn how a good system should sound, when things are right or wrong, and how to relate what they hear and see to the magnitude, phase and coherence traces in that space.
These sessions focus on listening and interpretation in context, not on software operation or system design.
You learn:
how a good system should sound
when things are right
when to stop adjusting
This part is about listening and interpreting measurements
WHAT YOU WILL WORK WITH
FOH vs System Tech responsibility
Listening as the main reference
Measuring polarity, phase and coherence
FOH console routing and using matrices
Tuning mains, subs, fills, and delays
Low-frequency balance
Measurement tools (RTA, transfer function)
Tuning and knowing when to stop
Real-world workflow in venues
These topics are used to support decisions, not to teach software or presets.
STRUCTURE & TIMING
The Online Fundamentals will be available at the end of January.
The Live Listening & Measuring Sessions will be scheduled later,
in small groups and suitable venues.
The online part is recommended before joining a live session.
